The Strategic Advisory Team serves clients through short-term engagements that range from growth strategy and diligences to agency reviews and org redesigns. They support a diverse client base across brands, publishers, tech companies, and private equity firms. The team consists of strategy consultants who are passionate about the media industry.


Engagement Manager, Strategic Advisory

Job Title: Engagement Manger, Strategic Advisory

Role Overview

The role of Engagement Manager is an integral one to the success of 3CV. You will drive strategic engagements, manage high-profile clients, and ensure execution excellence across client work in the media, advertising, technology, and investment sectors.

You will serve as the day-to-day leader on client engagements, balancing big picture strategy with hands-on project execution. Working closely with 3CV’s senior leadership, clients, and expert network, you will develop innovative solutions and oversee their successful implementation. 

​

The Engagement Manager is critical to ensuring client satisfaction; they are responsible for delivering quality work that meets the client’s expectations. Working across a variety of client engagements, you will gain exposure to senior executives at the most influential companies in the media ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

​

Client Leadership:

Serve as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders (C-Suite, VP level).

Define engagement objective, structure complex challenges, and ensure client satisfaction

​

Project & Team Management:

Lead cross-functional teams, integrating core consultants, expert network members, and offshore analysts.

Manage project scope, deliverables, and timelines, ensuring high-quality execution.

​

Insight Generation & Strategic Problem Solving:

Conduct deep industry analysis and distill insights into compelling recommendations.

Develop frameworks, white papers, and thought leadership to drive client success.

​

Business Growth & Thought Leadership:

Identify new opportunities for 3CV and contribute to proposal development.

Represent 3CV in industry discussions, conferences, and executive briefings.

Success in this role means delivering tangible client impact, shaping the future of media and advertising strategy, and accelerating 3CV’s growth.

Qualifications

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in management consulting or strategy roles with a focus on media, advertising, or technology.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.

  • Proven experience leading consulting engagements, managing teams, and working with senior client stakeholders.

  • Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work in a lean, agile consulting model, leveraging external experts and execution partners.

  • Possesses a “can-do” attitude, can navigate ambiguity, and is a team-player

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience in private equity, investment strategy, or go-to-market advisory.

  • Exposure to growth strategy, M&A, or business transformation initiatives.

  • MBA or other advanced degree preferred but not required.

​​
