Role Overview
3CV is looking for a hands-on, Workplace Technology Engineer, to deliver technical support across hardware, software, and Microsoft 365, ensuring a seamless and secure employee technology experience. This role will support onboarding/offboarding, executive needs, and onsite events while partnering with security and infrastructure teams for escalations and advanced initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

IT Support & Help Desk:

Provide Tier 1–2 support for hardware, software, and SaaS tools

Troubleshoot and support both Windows and macOS environments
-
Own ticket intake, prioritization, and resolution (fast response times matter)
-
Document fixes, workflows, and build internal knowledge base
-
Support onboarding/offboarding: accounts, access, devices, and equipment
Microsoft 365 Administration (Required):
-
Administer Microsoft 365 users, licenses, groups, and permissions
-
Support Teams, Outlook/Exchange Online, SharePoint, and OneDrive
-
Help enforce MFA, security settings, and access hygiene

Executive Support (as needed):

Provide high-touch support for executives and key stakeholders

Troubleshoot conferencing, devices, and meeting setups quickly and discreetly

Onsite Event Support:

Support internal meetings, offsites, and company events onsite
-
Set up conferencing tools, A/V equipment, laptops, projectors, and troubleshoot live issues

Coordinate with vendors/event staff when needed​​

Security Support (Supportive, Not Sole Owner):

Follow security playbooks and escalation procedures
-
Assist with endpoint compliance (updates, encryption, antivirus/EDR), phishing triage, and access reviews

Escalate confirmed threats through defined incident response path
What This Role Is Not Responsible For (Initially):
-
Owning security strategy, SOC2, or full incident response leadership
-
Designing Conditional Access / enterprise IAM strategy alone
-
Full network/firewall ownership beyond basic troubleshooting
-
Major infrastructure migrations without support
Qualifications
Must-Haves:
-
3–5 years of IT Support / Help Desk experience
-
Strong Microsoft 365 admin experience
-
Experience supporting both Windows and macOS users
-
Strong troubleshooting ability and ability to work independently
-
Detail-oriented with strong communication and documentation habits
Nice-to-Haves:
-
Google Workspace familiarity
-
Executive support experience
-
Basic networking knowledge (VPN/Wi-Fi/DNS)
-
Intune or Jamf exposure
-
Event / AV support experience
-
Interest in cybersecurity and IT operations growth
